An especially BIG thank you to all our volunteers who helped out at this year’s MMM. It was a big ask this year with COVID restrictions, personal circumstances and nervousness around the pandemic.

The spirit of the Mourne Mountain Marathon is still well and truly alive, shown by the lengths some of our volunteers were prepared to go to, to make sure COVID did not derail our event. Timing played a big part too, but in order to comply with restrictions and ensure everyone’s health and safety many volunteers put in extra extra effort and gave up even more of their spare time. For this the committee and myself are very grateful.
